Connie Grubbs
Sharp-tongued, theatrically selfish, and catastrophically dishonest, Connie Grubbs drifts through life like a gothic con artist trapped inside her own melodrama. Its forty-two stained glass windows each tell a different story drawn from generations of devotion, tragedy, folklore, migration, violence, romance, and survival. Some believe the castle was built to protect the family. Others suspect it was built because the family needed protection from something already inside their bloodline.
